Rubab Afzaal is a Faculty member working as a Lecturer in the School of Fashion and Design at GIFT University Gujranwala. She has adequate expertise in the field of Fashion and Designing. Moreover, she has practical experience as Textile Designer at Nishat Apparel Lahore, Koh-e-Noor textile Mills Rawalpindi, Shah Posh Fabrics and various embroidery units. She has completed her Web Development 8 week’s course from LUMS. Additionally, she has also organized and participated in different Arts Exhibitions as a judge. Her primary teaching and training interests are Textile Design I, II, III, & IV, Sewing, Pattern Drafting, Drawing and Art History. She has taught classes of B.Des. at GIFT University. She has completed her MFA from University of the Punjab. Her primary research interests are to create Motifs and Design Developments. She has recently launched her clothing brand named Grace and Lace by Rubab. 

Moreover, her extracurricular achievements are worth mentioning. She is also a national player and won a Silver medal in Wushu (Kung Fu) in the National Games 2012. She also won a Gold medal in Rifle Shooting in the National Championship representing HEC (Higher Education Commission). She is also a Gold medalist from the University of Punjab in M.Sc. Physical Education and Sports Sciences.
