For the very first time, SFADA students represented Pakistan at the acclaimed Runway Dubai Fashion Show, held at the Sofitel the Palm Jumeirah Hotel. Selected after rigorous interviews and concept evaluations, our students competed with emerging designers from across the Middle East and beyond.
Their stunning garments and design concepts were met with admiration and applause from media, global designers, and fashion industry leaders. The team received certificates and international press coverage, marking a proud moment for both SFADA and Pakistan.
At Aberdeen Fashion Week in Scotland, SFADA students once again made their mark on a global platform. Due to the pandemic, the event was held virtually, allowing designers from around the world to participate safely. This year, for the first time, Pakistan through GIFT University joined the show, showcasing our students' exceptional designing and creativity through fashion. This experience offered our students a rare opportunity to connect with the international design scene and gain global visibility.
SFADA is excited to share that four of our graduates have been awarded the prestigious Presidential Scholarship by Wuhan Textile University in China. This fully funded opportunity empowers them to pursue advanced degrees and gain international experience as the next generation talent of our students and marks an exciting chapter for them to cultivate fashion and textile education on an international level.
SFADA students were recently given an exclusive opportunity to study at one of the world's top fashion schools, Polimoda in Italy. A custom designed course was created specifically for our fashion design and textile students, allowing them to experience high-end European fashion education and learn from global industry experts.
