Umaira Saeed is a dedicated fashion design educator with a strong foundation in both academia and industry. She holds a Bachelor's degree from National Textile University, Pakistan, and earned her MPhil in Fashion Design from Wuhan Textile University, China, through a prestigious scholarship. With over three years of teaching experience at NTU Karachi Campus and Gift University, she has supervised numerous thesis projects and also served as Program Coordinator at NTU. At Gift University, she currently teaches Fashion Studio, Entrepreneurial Mindset, and History of Fashion and Embellishment. Her industry experience includes working as a technical designer for a leading Sri Lankan fashion brand and interning with several fashion houses and boutiques. Umairaâs academic interestsâsewing, surface embellishment, and historical costume are reflected in her practical and student focused teaching approach.
