My name is Taiyba Malik, and Iām a passionate fashion and textile designer with a deep interest in teaching and research. Iām 24 years old and graduated from Gift University Gujranwala with a degree in Fashion and Textile Designing. During my academic journey, I had the opportunity to intern at a design studio, which gave me valuable industry experience and helped shape my creative direction. To further strengthen my teaching skills, I also taught at the higher secondary level, which became a stepping stone in my journey as an educator. Currently, Iām working as a Visiting Faculty Member at Gift University, where I enjoy guiding students, sharing my knowledge, and helping them explore their own creative paths. Alongside teaching, Iām actively involved in research. Iāve written a research paper titled āUnmasking Green Lies of Fashion: How Sustainability Claims Mislead the Buying Behavior of Consumersā, which has been submitted to a journal for publication. I'm currently working on additional research papers to continue developing my skills and contributing meaningful insights to the fashion industry. Iām passionate about creating a balance between creativity, critical thinking, and conscious design.
