Mashal Junaid is a Lecturer and Thesis Supervisor at the School of Fine Arts, Design, and Architecture (SFADA), GIFT University, Gujranwala. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Fashion and Textile Design and has completed an MPhil in Art and Design from Superior University, Lahore. With over 8 years of experience in teaching and supervising undergraduate theses, she is dedicated to nurturing creative talent and promoting academic excellence in the field of fashion. Her academic and professional journey includes co-teaching fashion forecasting with Polimoda, showcasing a fashion collection at Runway Dubai, and presenting an entrepreneurial project at the See Pakistan EXPO 2023 in Lahore. She has also been honored with the prestigious Cumulus Grant, which enabled her to attend international conferences in Beijing, Mexico, and Budapest further enriching her global perspective and professional development. In addition to her teaching and industry contributions, she has published research in an HEC-recognized journal of Design and Textile. She has also successfully led SFADA’s Thesis Displays (2022–2023), conducted hands-on workshops, and managed major departmental events. Passionate about design, research, and education, she remains committed to contributing meaningfully to the advancement of fashion and creative industries in Pakistan and beyond.
